Suphanat and Piyarat, leading the Bangkok MPs of the Prachachon Party, expressed gratitude for all votes in the 2026 Bangkok governor and councilor elections. They revealed plans to thank voters over Saturday and Sunday due to a four-day parliamentary session and also extended congratulations to Chadchart.
On 29 June 2026, Piyarat Jathep and Suphanat Meenachainan, together with other Members of Parliament (MPs) from Bangkok representing the Prachachon Party, held a press conference at the Parliament Building, thanking Bangkok residents for exercising their voting rights. They referred to the elections for the Bangkok Metropolitan Council members and the Governor of Bangkok.
Piyarat and Suphanat thanked all Bangkok residents who voted this time. On behalf of all Bangkok MPs, they congratulated Chadchart Sittipunt on becoming the Governor of Bangkok for a second term and extended congratulations to every elected councilor in all districts. They expressed great pleasure in the opportunity to work together, stating that all MPs are ready to fully promote important agendas for Bangkok, especially the Bangkok Metropolitan Act.
Regarding the Prachachon Party's councilors, the party will make further announcements later. Due to a four-day parliamentary session, they apologized to everyone they have not yet personally thanked for their votes, promising to do so after the session ends on Saturday and Sunday.
