Putting a stop to rumors of a rift within Bhumjaithai, "Phiphat and Chayachonok" jointly affirm that the two ministers and one deputy remain tightly united and harmonious, stressing that Prime Minister "Anutin" leads the country as the number one without any interference from others.
On 30 June 2026, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, and a Bhumjaithai Party leader, addressed rumors of conflict among two ministers, denying their truth. He explained that the two ministers are part of the group, with an additional deputy involved. He has discussed this within the party and confirmed that all matters are coordinated with Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, who consults with him and the other minister. He affirmed that claims of division, especially among the two ministers plus one deputy, are false. They remain normal but acknowledged that some discussions might be overlooked occasionally if the issues are minor. He reiterated there is no internal conflict within Bhumjaithai.
Regarding suggestions that the conflict stems from country administration, Mr. Phiphat stated that the Prime Minister is the country's sole administrator, and the other minister does not intervene in administration. He stressed that Anutin is number one in administration and denied any outside interference. However, giving advice and consultation is normal for any government or leader worldwide, as advisors provide expertise in specialized areas. Anutin has a large advisory team, and their recommendations are specialized by topic. He reiterated that no conflicts exist.
Meanwhile, Mr. Chayachonok Chidchob, Minister of Digital Economy and Society and Secretary-General of the Bhumjaithai Party, commented on the rumors of a rift among the two ministers and one deputy. He acknowledged that there have been some disputes between the two ministers, Mr. Newin Chidchob and Mr. Chayachonok, but described these as disagreements born from love and the intent to do good for the nation. Regarding the one deputy and one minister—Mr. Phiphat and his wife, Mrs. Natee Ratchakitprakarn—they also argue regularly.
When asked if there was any issue between Anutin and Newin, Mr. Chayachonok said they share love, closeness, and have grown stronger. He admitted that occasional disagreements are normal for anyone in work or life, but Bhumjaithai maintains unity and harmony, always seeking the best solutions. He confirmed that Newin and Anutin have never had problems with each other.
Asked whether the rumors would cause a rift between the two, Mr. Chayachonok said such reports might cause societal discredit but cannot interfere with their personal relationship. They love and trust each other, having shared both hardships and happiness for a long time. Such minor issues will not affect them.
