“Korn - Kandi - Radkelao” teamed up to launch “DIP Class 16,” recruiting former prime ministers and leading national experts as mentors to cultivate new leaders driving public policy.
On 1 July 2026, the Democrat Party opened a creative space for the new generation, announcing applications for youths to join the “Democrat Internship Program (DIP) Class 16,” a leadership development course aimed at helping young people learn about Thailand and develop policy-thinking skills through direct experience with experts, to creatively address social problems free of charge throughout the course.
This year’s curriculum is designed as an open-minded space where youths learn from politicians, academics, and experts across various fields, with opportunities to visit communities to study real social issues, practice analyzing solutions, and exchange views in an atmosphere that respects diversity.
A key highlight of this year’s program is the honor of having former prime ministers, politicians, academics, and top national experts from various sectors serve as mentors, providing exclusive advice, guidance, and shared experiences to help the new generation deeply understand social issues from multiple perspectives.
The Democrat Party believes Thailand’s future must be driven by people of all groups and ages. At the end of the program, a “Policy Hackathon” event will be held for participants to compete with ideas and practice designing real policies.
Promising ideas and policies from the competition will be considered for continuation and actively promoted by the Democrat Party’s mechanisms to respond concretely to the needs of the younger generation.
The Democrat Party confirms its readiness as an open platform to nurture young people’s potential, emphasizing that this program welcomes all youths interested in learning and self-development, regardless of prior political background, as long as they are committed and can attend all activities.
Applicants must be youths aged between 18 and 24. The program accepts only 60 participants and is completely free throughout the course.
