Thai Help Thai Plus (60/40) Program Sees 43.2 Billion Baht Circulation in First Month, Boosting Local Economies Nationwide

The government spokesperson revealed that the Thai Help Thai Plus (60/40) program generated over 43.2 billion baht in its first month, with more than 25 million people rushing to use their benefits, resulting in spending that spread funds to entrepreneurs nationwide.

On 1 July 2026, Ms. Ratchada Thanadirek, spokesperson for the Office of the Prime Minister, disclosed that the Thai Help Thai Plus (60/40) program received continuous support from citizens and entrepreneurs. By the end of the first month of operation (data as of 30 June 2026 at 11:00 p.m.), total spending reached 43,218.39 million baht, with 25,686,181 successful benefit users and spending occurring at over 1.03 million shops. This reflects the success of the measure in stimulating purchasing power, distributing funds to entrepreneurs, and strengthening the grassroots economy nationwide.

The program began actively on the first day of benefit use, 1 June 2026, with total spending of 2,039.74 million baht, then expanded steadily to reach an accumulated total of 43,218.39 million baht within the first month. This demonstrates public confidence in the measure and their participation in stimulating the domestic economy.

From the entrepreneurs’ perspective, 1,073,146 shops have registered and are ready to operate, with 1,035,299 shops having recorded spending through the program. These include general retailers, small vendors, community shops, and food delivery platforms, which joined the program starting 15 June 2026. This has increased entrepreneurs’ income, improved business liquidity, and expanded commercial opportunities.

The Thai Help Thai Plus (60/40) program is one of the government’s key measures aimed at alleviating citizens’ living cost burdens while supporting small entrepreneurs, community shops, and local businesses by stimulating domestic spending. This ensures money circulates throughout the economy in all areas and concretely strengthens the grassroots economy.

The Office of the Prime Minister’s spokesperson stated that the first month’s results reflect the cooperation among the public sector, private sector, and citizens in driving the country’s economy. The government will continuously monitor the program’s progress to develop measures that better meet the needs of citizens and entrepreneurs, continuing to boost domestic purchasing power, strengthen the grassroots economy, and support sustainable economic growth.
