Anutin Quells Rift Rumors Between Two Ns, Affirms Bhumjaithai Partys Unity

Anutin quells rumors of a rift between the two 'N's, saying no explanation is needed. He joked about previously considering changing the names to 'Netin-Anuwin' and affirmed that Bhumjaithai remains united. He challenged party members to dare to quarrel, noting many have faced consequences before.

2 July 2026 GMT+7 Anutin Chanvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, and leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, gave an interview at the Government House regarding rumors of a split between the two 'N's. Regarding the Bhumjaithai Party, Anutin said, "The party secretary has already responded; it's about a bird and a child, father and son." When a reporter asked about the relationship between 'Nook' and 'Ney', Anutin replied, "No need to worry." He then asked back, "Why doubt it?" The reporter said they wanted the Prime Minister to clarify clearly, to which Anutin responded that there is no need to explain anything. He added that in the past, they considered changing the names to 'Netin' and 'Anuwin' and urged not to pay attention to baseless issues.

When asked again if they remain closely united, Anutin said, "No explanation is needed here." Regarding questions about whether lower-level members have conflicts, Anutin laughed and said, "When I say there’s no quarrel at the top, people say the lower ranks quarrel. Whoever in Bhumjaithai dares to quarrel among themselves, try it and see. Many have been scolded, teased, and had grilled chicken burned on them—countless people already."

When asked if he was confident that there is no conflict within Bhumjaithai, Anutin said, "I just answered that. The other day, 4-5 people got grilled chicken burned. You can ask who got it."
