Sutin Klangsang agrees with the Ministry of Interior's decision to re-examine the local official exam scores of 15,520 individuals who have already been appointed, in order to dispel public suspicion, while ensuring the rights of innocent people are not violated.
On 5 Jul 2026 GMT+7, Sutin Klangsang, a party-list MP from the Pheu Thai Party, commented on the Department of Local Administration, Ministry of Interior's order to review the exam scores of 15,520 local civil servants who have already been appointed, to be completed within three days. He said that reopening the investigation is appropriate because society has suspicions and significant corruption has been uncovered, so the issue must be clarified to resolve doubts. The review should separate innocent individuals from wrongdoers; innocent persons must not be infringed upon, while those guilty must be stripped of rights and punished, including all involved parties. Crucially, the review process must be conducted with transparency and true fairness to prevent lingering public doubts, enabling progress. All involved parties, including the Ministry of Interior and Srinakharinwirot University, must work to restore public trust in their institutions.
