Relatives of “Phra Chinchang,” one of the 11-year-old child victims who died after hitting wandering monks, appeal to MP Kungfu to help locate the biological father from Udon Thani to complete compensation documents after separating from the mother; currently unreachable.
On 5 Jul 2026 GMT+7, Mrs. Sinjai Saithong, 39, mother of Phra Yothin Khantitharo, also known as Phra Chinchang, aged 21, from Wat Sam Sakway Noi, at 132 Moo 12, Ta Kao Subdistrict, Nam Khun District, Ubon Ratchathani Province, a monk among those who died in the accident when an 11-year-old boy drove a pickup truck that crashed on Ban Na Si Nuan Road, Mueang District, Mukdahan Province. The monks were traveling from Wat Roi Phra Phutthabat Phu Monrom in Mukdahan Province, heading to Nam Khun District, Ubon Ratchathani Province.
She sought assistance from “MP Kungfu,” Mr. Wasawat Phuangpornsi, a party-list Member of Parliament from the Thai Sang Thai Party, after attending the water-pouring funeral ceremony for the seven monks who died at Ban Nam Khun Temple, Ubon Ratchathani Province. She asked for help to find Mr. Prawat Wannasri, age unknown, from Udon Thani Province, the biological father of Phra Chin, who divorced the mother when Phra Chin was still young and has had no contact since. The father’s signature is needed to receive compensation documents from this accident, as both living parents must sign various papers.
Initially, MP Kungfu plans to coordinate with the Deputy Governor of Udon Thani Province to facilitate the search for Phra Chinchang’s father to handle the necessary documents, ensuring the deceased family members receive full compensation support. Anyone with information or knowing the whereabouts of Mr. Prawat Wannasri can contact MP Kungfu or Phra Chinchang’s family immediately. Condolences are extended to the families of all the monks who perished in this tragedy.
