D-Day This August: Reporting Labor Issues via Upgraded Traffy Fondue System—Instant Acknowledgment and Rapid Resolution

Upgraded system! The government is preparing to use Traffy Fondue to receive complaints from 45 million Thai workers, enabling instant reporting, immediate acknowledgment, and rapid problem resolution starting early August.

On 6 July 2026 GMT+7, Second Lieutenant Phatdarasmi Thongsaluaykorn, Deputy Spokesperson of the Prime Minister's Office, announced progress in advancing government services into the digital era. The Ministry of Labor is accelerating the development of the complaint platform “Traffy Fondue” in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation to provide a channel for grievances and assist in tracking difficulties faced by over 45 million Thai workers. The system is expected to be fully operational by late July to early August.

Second Lieutenant Phatdarasmi said the government recognizes the challenges Thai workers face, including wage disparities, unsafe working environments, and concerns over layoffs and unemployment amid economic fluctuations. Past complaint channels often suffered delays and accessibility issues, causing problems to remain unresolved and become chronic hardships. This policy is designed to overcome those limitations by simplifying grievance reporting to ensure every labor issue is addressed quickly, transparently, and with maximum efficiency.

The Traffy Fondue system will serve as the primary channel for labor-related complaints, covering wages, benefits, working conditions, and rights violations. Workers can simply take photos, pin their location, and specify issues via smartphones. Then, AI analyzes and forwards the data directly to responsible officials, eliminating redundant paperwork. Workers can track the status of problem resolution in real time, ensuring every case receives attention and is not neglected.

The Deputy Spokesperson emphasized that the system will not only address domestic labor issues but the government also plans to extend coverage to Thai workers abroad, providing safety guarantees and assistance access anytime, anywhere. The government believes this technological application will strengthen labor rights protection and is committed to listening and resolving all problems to improve the quality of life for every worker.
