The process must adhere to transparency principles, allow verification at every step, and produce findings that can be clearly explained to the public. He signed Prime Minister's Office Order No. 263/2569 appointing a committee to investigate factual and legal aspects of corruption in the 2025 local government competitive exams. The committee is tasked with intensive fact-finding, empowered to examine all aspects, and required to report its findings to the government within a strictly defined timeframe.
Deputy Prime Minister Pakorn Nilprapunt serves as committee chairman, with the Minister of Justice as vice chairman. Their role is to verify facts and legal issues and prepare a report for the Prime Minister within 30 days from 6 July 2026 GMT+7, submitting progress updates every 10 days.
