Prime Minister Anutin attended the Cabinet meeting flanked by Yotchanan Wongsawat and Julanpan Amornwiwat. When reporters asked if he had called Pheu Thai faction ministers to discuss a Cabinet reshuffle, the Prime Minister turned and joked that he was calling them up to the Thai Khu Fah Building to eat porridge, not for a reshuffle.
At 10:05 a.m. on 7 July 2026 at Government House, the Cabinet meeting was chaired by Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul. That morning, the Prime Minister summoned ministers to the Thai Khu Fah Building.
Then, as he walked from the Thai Khu Fah Building to the Command Building 1 for the Cabinet meeting, the Prime Minister was surrounded by ministers. On his right was Yotchanan Wongsawat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation; on his left was Julanpan Amornwiwat, Minister of Labour. Behind them were Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Akniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Transport Minister Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, and Industry Minister Warawut Silpa-archa.
At one point, reporters asked about the summons of Pheu Thai faction ministers to meet at the Thai Khu Fah Building, and whether there was any discussion about work or a Cabinet reshuffle. Yotchanan and Julanpan laughed, and the Prime Minister replied, “We’re going to eat porridge.”
Reporters also inquired about progress on the investigation into the local civil service exam scores for 15,000 positions. The Prime Minister said he had assigned Deputy Minister of Interior Worasit Liangprasith to give a briefing.
