Pakamon Questions Interior Ministrys Sincerity in Tackling Local Exam Corruption, Calls to Find Satuns Kuan Khlong Subdistrict Head

Pakamon questions the sincerity of the Interior Ministry's number 4 official, saying that if they truly intend to expose those involved in local official exam corruption, they should find the Kuan Khlong Subdistrict Head in Satun, believed to be affiliated with a powerful local family.

On 7 Jul 2026 GMT+7, Ms. Pakamon Noon-anun, a list MP from the Prachachon Party, posted on Facebook demanding clarity from Deputy Interior Minister Worasit Liangprasit after Mr. Natthapong Suwanchana, the Kuan Khlong Subdistrict Head in Satun, fled due to involvement in exam corruption. Pakamon noted that this case is unusual because this subdistrict head is indeed listed as the 14th member of the central local official exam committee. The police have issued three arrest warrants, yet nearly three weeks have passed without finding him. News reports claim he fled abroad, but according to her information, he remains somewhere in the southern region.

"I want to ask the Interior Ministry's number 4 official, the Satun MP for District 2 including Kuan Khlong subdistrict, who twice responded to my live questions with firm promises to thoroughly investigate and expose the root of the issue regardless of who is involved, where exactly did you say this so that anyone would believe you, Mr. Worasit Liangprasit?" Ms. Pakamon added that this case occurred within the jurisdiction of the Interior Ministry's number 4 official. Everyone knows that in provincial areas, local officials like subdistrict heads can only rise by being loyal and connected to powerful local families. In Satun, this influential family is believed to be the Liangprasit family. Therefore, she questions how it is possible that the Kuan Khlong Subdistrict Head cannot be found.

"If you truly intend to get to the root, then go down to the area where you stand and dig deeper. You might find the source you are looking for. Try harder. Make society believe you are seriously trying by actively searching for key witnesses—namely this subdistrict head—instead of merely denying contact with him," she said. . Pakamon said.
