Phiphat advances communication channels by launching the "Yat Dai" page, showcasing transport achievements, elevating the South, connecting development across all regions, and reinforcing that every policy is genuinely implemented, not just for electioneering purposes.
On 7 Jul 2026, Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Minister of Transport, officially launched the "Yat Dai" page as an active communication platform to present the ministry's work, including progress on key projects, policy implementation, and tangible benefits to the public. The page reflects efforts on major policies such as “Affordable Transport” to reduce living and travel expenses, building a “Seamless Connectivity” network integrating electric trains, double-track railways, and high-speed trains, and measures for “Safe and Modern Transport” by adopting intelligent traffic systems to reduce accidents and improve travel safety.
A source from the Ministry of Transport revealed that the "Yat Dai" page will serve as a central hub collecting information on transport infrastructure development across land, rail, water, and air, continuously updating project progress so that the public can closely follow the ministry’s operations.
The communication strategy focuses on three main missions: Update—providing continuous project progress reports; Prove—demonstrating policy effectiveness through verifiable data and statistics; and Connect—linking public service information, travel benefits, cost-reduction measures, and offering a platform to receive public feedback.
Additionally, the page will track and highlight progress on major transport projects nationwide, especially significant initiatives in the South, a strategic transport area poised to transform the region and elevate its economy and
tourism comprehensively in the "Land of the Sword's Hilt." This includes developing the “Andaman and Gulf of Thailand gateways,” such as regional airport upgrades at Phuket, Krabi, and Trang; expanding highway networks; and double-track railway projects to boost economic potential, tourism, and national transport connectivity.
The source stated that Minister Phiphat expects the "Yat Dai" page to be more than just a publicity channel; it is intended as an open, transparent, and verifiable communication space that encourages public participation in monitoring the country's infrastructure and transport system development continuously.
“The ‘Yat Dai’ page will reflect the policy initiatives that Minister Phiphat has promised the public, aiming to build confidence that all travel and transport policies are being genuinely implemented and producing tangible results across the entire country.”
