
The parliamentary Anti-Corruption Commission Subcommittee has summoned the Director-General of the Department of Local Administration, the Rector of Srinakharinwirot University, and other relevant parties to provide information on the local exam fraud issue tomorrow (9 July), emphasizing that all offenders will be prosecuted to the fullest extent.
On 8 July at the parliament, Mr. Asaphon Santraiphop, Member of Parliament for Sisaket from the Bhumjaithai Party and chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission Subcommittee of the House of Representatives, revealed that the subcommittee meeting on 9 July 2026 will consider corruption in the local government employee recruitment exams. To obtain clear information, the subcommittee has invited representatives from four related agencies to provide testimony: 1. The Director-General of the Department of Local Administration; 2. The Chair of the Central Committee for Local Employee Competitive Examinations; 3. The Rector of Srinakharinwirot University; and 4. The Chair of the Anti-Corruption Organization of Thailand.
Regarding the stance on this matter, the Bhumjaithai Party meeting has clearly resolved that all offenders must be prosecuted to the fullest extent. Everyone involved in corruption must face legal action regardless of their rank or position, as no one is above the law.
