On 10 July 2026, reporters reported that in the evening, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul shared a Facebook post from the FC Pheu Thai page stating, “Rumors spread!! Former Prime Minister Thaksin invited Deputy Prime Minister Suriya to successfully close the shrimp dispute deal with Malaysia before Prime Minister Anutin's arrival.”
Subsequently, Prime Minister Anutin deleted the shared post, giving the reason: “I accidentally clicked share; it was unintentional. Thanks to the reporters who called to inform me.”
