Wiroj revealed that the Bangkok Governor invited him to join the advisory committee but he declined the position, citing his need to support the Bangkok Metropolitan Council's mission. He denied being an opposing faction and welcomed providing suggestions and monitoring results.
At 11:21 a.m. on 11 July 2026 GMT+7 Mr. Wiroj Lakkhana-Adisorn a former party-list Member of Parliament and head of the Bangkok management team for the Prachachon Party, posted onFacebookthat he is deeply grateful to the Bangkok Governor for honoring him with an invitation to join as one of the expert advisors.
Wiroj further stated that since he intends to focus primarily on supporting the Bangkok Metropolitan Council's work to strengthen the mechanisms for oversight and balance between the executive and the council constructively, he must respectfully decline the advisor position at this time.
He explained that declining the position does not mean rejecting cooperation. On the contrary, if the administration or any Bangkok agency sees that his knowledge or experience could help solve problems and improve residents' quality of life, he is always willing to offer suggestions, exchange views, and actively follow up.
