On 14 July 2026 at 18:40, at Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai, Bangkok, Ms. Ploytale Lakshamisangchan, Deputy Spokesperson of the Prime Minister's Office, revealed that Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and his wife, Mrs. Thannont Charnvirakul, attended a reception celebrating the French National Day at the invitation of H.E. Mr. Jean-Claude Poimboeuf, Ambassador of the French Republic to Thailand.
Upon arrival, the Prime Minister and his wife were welcomed by the French Ambassador and his wife, presented with congratulatory flower vases, and viewed a video showcasing France's history and culture, as well as the longstanding strong relationship between Thailand and France.

He expressed great pleasure in celebrating the French National Day, especially this year marking over 170 years of close diplomatic ties between Thailand and France, and thanked France for warmly welcoming the official state visit of His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen.
The Prime Minister also highlighted the Thailand-France relationship through cultural dimensions, exemplified by the exhibition "La Mode en Majesté" in Paris under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya. He mentioned discussions with President Emmanuel Macron as highly beneficial for enhancing cooperation between the two countries and advancing a strong strategic partnership through the Thailand-France Joint Action Plan 2026-2028, which serves as a framework for fully realized bilateral cooperation. He reiterated Thailand’s readiness to stand with France as a trusted friend and partner for their mutual future benefit.
