The Prime Minister, accompanied by his wife, continues his mission in China with a visit to the Chengdu Panda Conservation Center before flying to Beijing. Deputy Prime Ministers Supachai, Yotchanan, and Ministers Prasert, Suriya, and Pattana joined the Thailand team ahead of the meeting with Premier Li Qiang tomorrow.
On 19 July 2026 GMT+7, reporters covered the mission of Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, his wife Thananon Charnvirakul, and the Thailand team on their official visit to the People's Republic of China. This morning, the Prime Minister's delegation began their activities in Chengdu by visiting the Panda Conservation and Breeding Center. They toured the Starry Giant Panda Pavilion to see giant pandas and visited the panda nursery. Afterwards, the group proceeded to the Three Kingdoms Shrine before heading to Daci Temple to pay respects and admire the historic temple's beauty. Upon completing the Chengdu activities, the delegation departed from Shuangliu International Airport en route to Beijing.
For the Beijing mission, several cabinet ministers and senior officials joined the delegation to support key policy discussions scheduled with Premier Li Qiang of the People's Republic of China on Monday, 20 July 2026. Those joining include Deputy Prime Minister and Commerce Minister Supachai Sutthumphand, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation Yotchanan Wongsawat, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives Suriya Jungrungreangkit, Minister of Education Prasert Chanruangthong, and Minister of Public Health Pattana Promphat. They join the original team that traveled from the first day, including Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Anek Nitiapraditprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sihasak Puangketkaew, Minister of Digital Economy and Society Chaiyachon Chidchob, and Minister of Industry Warawut Silpa-archa.
During the afternoon and evening in Beijing, the Prime Minister will lead the delegation focusing on visits related to global technology and innovation. The itinerary starts with a visit to Huawei's Beijing Executive Briefing Center (EBC), followed by a trip to the CP Center for a briefing and tour of the CP Wisdom Museum. After these visits, the Prime Minister's team will return to their accommodation at the China World Hotel, concluding the official activities for the day.
