He said that despite Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul launching economic stimulus programs like Thai Thai Plus, public approval has not matched the enthusiasm seen during his initial administration, which leveraged border issues to secure votes for the Bhumjaithai Party in the last election. Current government initiatives have yet to build strong investment confidence domestically, and tourism remains stagnant. Moreover, corruption scandals continue unabated, such as the case involving foreign nationals impregnating Thai women who then list Thai men as fathers to gain Thai nationality—an issue posing a security threat that requires urgent action. There are also unresolved corruption scandals in local civil service exams, eroding public trust in government officials. Additionally, drug trafficking floods the country, with arrests unable to keep pace. The nation's image has steadily declined. It must be acknowledged that everyone knows the government's origins and backing are heavily influenced by Buriram, which acts as a major supporter manipulating the government. Worachai urged Anutin to distance himself from Buriram and to work earnestly so the public can see his true intention to develop the country as a whole, rather than favoring any particular group, thereby building the image of a prime minister for all Thais. He believes that if Anutin sincerely commits and sheds his Buriram image, the government will gain greater public trust and be able to deliver more tangible results to the people.
