Following the Prime Minister's final day in China, preparations are underway for bilateral talks with Chinese Premier Li Qiang, alongside signing 15 MOUs on cooperation in anti-money laundering and artificial intelligence studies, before the afternoon visit to Alibaba.
On 20 July 2026 in Beijing, People's Republic of China, reporters noted that Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, accompanied by his wife and senior delegation members, is concluding his official visit to China. Throughout the day, the Prime Minister has a full agenda including high-level meetings with Chinese leaders, witnessing the signing of 15 agreements, and visiting a leading global technology company.
In the morning, the Prime Minister and delegation will visit Tiananmen Square to lay a wreath at the Martyrs' Monument, then proceed to the Great Hall of the People for talks with Zhao Leji, Chairman of the National People's Congress, in the East Hall. Subsequently, Chinese Premier Li Qiang will hold an official welcome ceremony in the North Hall, inviting the Thai Prime Minister to inspect the honor guard before both leaders engage in full delegation discussions.
Highlight of the 15 MOUs: Preparing to deepen all-round relations
Reporters stated that a key highlight of this visit is the joint witnessing by the Thai and Chinese Prime Ministers of the signing ceremony of 15 agreements between the Kingdom of Thailand and the People's Republic of China at the Hebei Room in the Great Hall of the People, including:
1. Draft Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in exchanging financial transaction data to prevent and combat money laundering, financing of terrorism, and transnational crime between Thailand's Anti-Money Laundering Office and China's Ministry of Public Security.
2. Draft Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in public health between Thailand's Ministry of Public Health and China's National Health Commission.
3. Draft protocol on quarantine and hygiene requirements for aquatic animals for consumption exported from Thailand to China between Thailand's Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives and China's Customs Administration.
4. Draft Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in rural water management, hydropower, and irrigation between China's Ministry of Water Resources and Thailand's Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives.
5. Draft Memorandum of Understanding promoting exchange and cooperation in nuclear fusion between Thailand's Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation and China's Ministry of Science and Technology.
6. Draft Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in applying the Beidou satellite navigation system between Thailand's Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation and China's National Development and Reform Commission.
7. Draft agreement on cooperation in higher education between Thailand's Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation and China's Ministry of Education.

After the signing ceremony and a lunch hosted by the Chinese Prime Minister in the West Hall, the Thai delegation will visit Alibaba Group's headquarters in Beijing in the afternoon to receive a briefing from senior executives. The day’s mission will conclude with a visit and worship at Lama Temple (Yonghe Gong).
The Prime Minister and delegation are scheduled to depart Beijing Capital International Airport on a special flight at 16:00 local time, one hour ahead of Thailand, and are expected to arrive at Thailand's Air Force Base 2, Wing 6, at 19:40. This marks the official conclusion of the mission to the People's Republic of China.
