Phonphir continues efforts in Nakhon Phanom, urging Ministry of Interior agencies to work proactively, extend electricity access to residents, and promote community products to Asian markets.
On 20 Jul 2026 GMT+7, Phonphir Suwanchawi, Deputy Minister of Interior, conducted follow-up visits in Na Wa and Ban Phaeng districts of Nakhon Phanom province. He instructed agencies under the Ministry of Interior to accelerate proactive work to reach citizens and resolve issues before they escalate.
Phonphir issued a directive to the Provincial Electricity Authority of Nakhon Phanom to quickly survey and expand electrical systems to accommodate residential and agricultural areas without waiting for residents to submit requests. He also stressed that all affiliated agencies should regularly visit communities to listen to their problems, enabling timely and effective prevention and resolution. He emphasized that serving the public with heart is the duty of Ministry of Interior personnel.
Phonphir stated that, given the country's rapid development, government services must keep pace by working proactively ahead of time to support provincial growth, economic development, and improve the quality of life for people in all areas.
Additionally, Phonphir praised the community development groups for generating income locally and directed them to coordinate with the Women's Role Development Fund. This collaboration aims to create a comprehensive value chain for community products, including product development, branding, marketing, and sales.
He proposed involving younger generations and online marketing experts to help develop community products, pushing local goods into both domestic and international markets to generate income that truly benefits the grassroots economy.
Phonphir further revealed that soon the Community Development Department will officially launch training programs to enhance the capacity of the Women's Role Development Fund. These programs will align knowledge with national and global economic conditions, enabling the fund to become a key mechanism supporting community entrepreneurs and enhancing the competitiveness of local products, thereby strengthening the country's grassroots economy.
