On 20 July 2026, reporters reported that following comprehensive economic and security talks between Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Premier Li Qiang of the People's Republic of China at the Great Hall of the People, Premier Li hosted a luncheon in honor of the Thai Prime Minister and delegation amid a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Towards the end of the event, the Prime Minister was invited to sing “Tian Mi Mi,” a widely known and popular Chinese song, which brought smiles and left a strong impression on attendees, reflecting the close bonds and enduring friendship between Thailand and China, connecting not only governments and economies but also cultural ties and the sentiments of both peoples.
