Vatcharapong retorted to Natthapong’s threats of a no-confidence debate, calling it a staged fight to fool the public. He challenged him to submit any corruption receipts to the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) immediately. He accused the opposition of trying to stir up controversy and warned them to be mindful before pointing fingers at others, reminding that three fingers point back at oneself.
On 21 Jul 2026 GMT+7, Vatcharapong Kuwijitsuwan, Bhumjaithai MP for Saraburi, addressed opposition leader Natthapong Ruangpanyawut’s plan to submit a no-confidence debate against Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul's government, alleging corruption evidence aimed at toppling the administration. He said that while scrutiny is the opposition’s right and an opportunity for the government to clarify facts, Anutin has been working diligently and is recognized by both domestic and international investors. With nearly 300 solid government votes in parliament, the opposition cannot realistically topple the government as they boast.
Therefore, if Natthapong truly has corruption evidence, he should immediately submit it to the NACC without waiting for the parliamentary session in late August for the no-confidence debate. If such evidence existed, the government would not be able to survive.
He further suggested that this prelude might be a staged spectacle wasting the country’s time, merely using the parliamentary platform to deceive, distort information, and daily stir controversy to appease the 'Orange faction.' This is likely intended to cover up the scandals of MPs within the opposition party who are currently facing fraud charges, as well as the aggressive, thug-like behavior of some MPs harassing officials and opponents, making collaboration undesirable.
