Anutin laughed heartily as iLaw submitted names of nine Palang Pracharath (PT) politicians implicated in the Senate election rigging case, insisting the information is unreliable.
On 21 July 2026 at the Palang Pracharath Party headquarters, Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, also PT party leader, commented on the case where the Internet Law for People's Rights (iLaw) submitted documents to the opposition whip revealing nine PT politicians possibly involved in the Senate election rigging. Anutin briefly stated he had not yet seen the news.
When reporters pressed that the document clearly listed PT politicians by name, Anutin responded with surprise, "Really?" and urged that everything should follow proper investigative procedures to uncover the facts.
When reporters added that Anutin's own name appeared first on the iLaw list, the Prime Minister laughed good-naturedly and replied, "Really? That just shows the information isn't trustworthy," concluding firmly, "I'm not involved at all."
