At 5:00 p.m. on 21 July 2026 GMT+7, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul posted a message throughhis personal Facebook page.This followed a controversy arising from his singing of the Chinese song "Tian Mi Mi" (甜蜜蜜) during his official visit to the People's Republic of China. The Prime Minister shared the ABBA song "Thank You For The Music" along with a message and saxophone, musical note, and microphone emojis, stating: "Those who lack timely music
in their nature are peculiar people.
Moreover, anyone who cannot appreciate good music
is fit to be considered a vile rebel."
However, prior to this, there had been criticism that the Prime Minister enjoys playing music and singing at various events, which coincided with several domestic issues.
