Prime Minister Anutin Chanvirakul, who also serves as Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Police Commission (ก.ตร.), arrived at the National Police Headquarters to chair the 7/2569 Police Commission meeting, where Police Chief Kittirat Phanpetch (National Police Chief) and four Deputy National Police Chiefs were present to welcome him.
The Prime Minister wore a bright smile and greeted the four candidates nominated for the position of National Police Chief. He did not respond to media questions about any surprises. Afterwards, the Prime Minister, the Police Chief, Police Commission members, and experts entered a private lounge for a 15-minute discussion before proceeding to the meeting room to begin the scheduled agenda.
This meeting included five agenda items, with the key item being agenda 4: the selection and appointment of the 16th National Police Chief to replace Police Chief Kittirat, who will retire on 30 September.
