Today, Srettha visits Government House to meet Prime Minister Anutin and receive the 2026 TZD+ Award, which honors individuals and organizations playing key roles in tackling issues faced by out-of-school children and youth.
On 24 July 2026, a reporter at Government House reported that at 3:30 p.m., Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul will preside over the award ceremony. The “Prime Minister’s Thailand Zero Dropout Plus (TZD+) Award for the year 2026 ” will be held at the Phakdi Bodin Building, Government House, to honor individuals and organizations who have significantly contributed to resolving problems faced by out-of-school children and youth, reinforcing the goal of restoring educational opportunities and building a better future for all Thai children.
Police General Permpoon Chidchob, Chair of the National Committee to Address Out-of-School Children and Youth (NCC), will report on the progress of the Thailand Zero Dropout Plus project before the Prime Minister presents awards to outstanding contributors and issues policies to continuously drive this mission forward.
This year’s honorary award will be presented to former Prime Minister Srettha Tawisin, recognized as the initiator and promoter of the Thailand Zero Dropout program as a national agenda, aimed at providing opportunities for out-of-school children and youth to return to learning pathways and develop their potential appropriately.
Additionally, awards will be given to provinces, agencies, organizations, and individuals playing important roles in advancing the Zero Dropout project, including Pattani, Yala, Kanchanaburi provinces, the Mirror Foundation, Sansiri Public Company Limited, Bo Daeng Subdistrict Administrative Organization, and presenter Wiwat Wongpatthiti from the Super Jiw program.
