Army Commander inspects Task Forces 45 and 93, stressing comprehensive care for personnel and applying lessons learned to adjust plans for peacebuilding in the southern border region.
On 25 July 2026, General Pana Klaewplodtuk, Army Commander and Deputy Director of Internal Security Operations Command (ISOC), along with senior commanders, conducted their second day of missions in Narathiwat Province. They inspected and received briefings on the situation, and met with personnel from units under ISOC Region 4 Front Command, including Task Force Ranger Regiment 45 in Ra-ngae District and Task Force Narathiwat Police 93 in Narathiwat City District.
The Army Commander presented supplies to boost morale and expressed gratitude to all personnel for their dedicated and resilient service in maintaining peace and order. He emphasized that commanders at all levels should oversee their personnel comprehensively, covering living conditions, welfare rights, physical and mental health, and appropriate rotation schedules without disrupting missions.
He instructed all units to review and adjust their operational plans based on lessons from past incidents to fit current conditions. He also ordered stricter security measures, including personnel protection, base defense, and security protocols during off-site operations.
"I urge all units to integrate efforts across intelligence, civil affairs, and cooperation with all sectors, including local communities, to jointly advance security work, maintain peace, and build sustainable tranquility in the southern border provinces," General Pana said.
