Wacharapong accused Yingcheep of iLaw of possibly having a hidden agenda by collaborating with Thanathorn and the Progressive Movement to overturn the Senate. He urged Yingcheep to reconsider and change his ways if he wishes to avoid a disastrous fate.
25 Jul 2026 GMT+7 Mr. Wacharapong Kuwijitsuwan Member of Parliament for Saraburi from the Bhumjaithai Party and chairman of the parliamentary police commission, responded to the actions of Mr. Yingcheep Achjananont, director of the Internet Law for People Project (iLaw). Regarding his disclosure of information on nine Bhumjaithai politicians, Wacharapong said that if Yingcheep conducts investigations honestly without hidden motives, as a politician he is ready to accept scrutiny. However, his past behavior and digital footprints suggest a different truth.
Wacharapong further stated that the interconnected movement during the recent Senate election involved cooperation among iLaw, Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit's Progressive Movement, and the orange party. They campaigned to field candidates for the Senate, raising questions about possible collusion. When this effort failed, they attempted to overturn the process to allow substitute senators affiliated with the orange party to replace current senators. This, he said, is a clear conflict of interest.
He cited past events highlighting the close relationship between Yingcheep and Thanathorn, such as the Progressive Movement’s Facebook page promoting iLaw's 'Senate Market' event, inviting all candidates to introduce themselves openly without secret vote trading. He also recalled when Thanathorn mentioned vote-rigging for the Senate while Yingcheep sat silently beside him, showing no objection. Wacharapong questioned why Yingcheep submitted loyally to Thanathorn then and why his current stance is so different.
/ He warned Yingcheep that many youths and activists have been misled by the spiritual leaders of the orange party, ultimately facing harsh realities and suffering alone. Therefore, if Yingcheep does not want to make a fatal mistake leading to a terrible fate, he should awaken, gather his senses, and change course before it is too late. .
