Anutin posted on Facebook that he traveled to Udon Thani to pay respects to MP Rung, the MP for Udon Thani's 3rd district from the Bhumjaithai Party, at the royal cremation ceremony held at Wat Pa Phra Tham Wisutthimongkhon.
At 16:30 on 26 July 2026, Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, as leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, posted on Facebook saying, “Arrived in Udon to send off MP Rung Thuraphon of the Bhumjaithai Party.”
Reporters noted that on the same day, the royal cremation ceremony for Mr. Rung Thuraphon (MP Rung), MP for Udon Thani's 3rd district from the Bhumjaithai Party, was held at Wat Pa Phra Tham Wisutthimongkhon in Ban Nong Sa Khrai, Chiang Whang Subdistrict, Phen District, Udon Thani Province. Mr. Rung Thuraphon, aged 69, passed away from a chronic illness at 08:15 on 20 July at Bangkok Udon Thani Hospital.
