At 09:30 on 27 Jul 2026 GMT+7 at the Government House, Pradorn Prissanantakul, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office and Bhumjaithai Party MP for Ang Thong, said regarding the plan to sue Yingchip Atchanont, director of the Internet for People's Law Project (iLaw), that he definitely intends to sue. He will announce the location for filing the complaint later.
When asked about Yingchip's participation in a panel discussion with the opposition whip committee after the "2nd Anniversary of Senate Election – In-depth Evidence of Senate Vote-Rigging Case (Part 2)" event, where ministers and related information were emphasized, Pradorn said it was all old matters. When asked if the lawsuit would proceed within this week, Pradorn said he would discuss it further.
When asked about Abhisit Vejjajiva, party-list MP and Democrat Party leader, stating he did not want lawsuits used to silence critics, Pradorn responded. "This is not a lawsuit to silence anyone. It is about damage, not just personal but to the party, so it is necessary to proceed." Regarding whether there will be lawsuits against other individuals, Pradorn said no discussions have been held yet.
