Pipat said that showing a photo of the '2 N. - 1 P.' group helps reduce accusations of division and quashes those who like to stir up rumors. He revealed that Nevin, a politician, does not pay attention to these news stories as they come from ill-wishers. He emphasized their relationship has lasted nearly 20 years, not just 1-2 years, and that they have always worked closely together, communicating weekly.
At 06:45 on 28 July 2026 at Sanam Luang, Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, and a leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, was interviewed about the meeting of '2 N.' with '1 P.' on 27 July. He said this matter really did not need to be questioned.
When asked again about the atmosphere of the discussion with Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, and Nevin Chidchob, chairman of Buriram United Football Club, Pipat said, “I already said we have nothing going on. On 27 July, I already reported we talk every week. When we met, the Prime Minister took a photo; it’s normal and good. This helps reduce suspicion, otherwise the media would keep spinning stories. I don’t know where this news came from; it was released anonymously.”
When asked if the meeting involved discussions beyond the rumors of conflict among the three, Pipat said, “No, we meet weekly as usual. There’s really no truth to those rumors. We talk normally every week.”
When asked how Nevin reacted to these rumors, Pipat said Nevin does not pay attention to such news. Being a politician, Nevin understands that ill-wishers often try to create divisions. Therefore, there’s nothing to it.
Asked if they need to meet frequently to avoid such rumors, Pipat emphasized, “We already meet every week face-to-face. We also talk almost daily by phone, checking in with each other whenever needed.”
When asked about Mrs. Karuna Chidchob’s recent post implying 'keep the good, cut off the traitor' and whether it relates to these matters, Pipat said, “I don’t know. I haven’t seen that post. I don’t understand or know the details.”
Asked if he can say that '2 N.' and '1 P.' will never separate, Pipat said, “We have been like this for a long time, not just 1-2 years but about 10 to 20 years. We’ve always had this close relationship and came up together. So there should be nothing to cause misunderstanding. If there is anything, we must talk it through with reason, whether work or other matters. We always rely on reason in our discussions.”
