"Songsak" plans to assign a lawyer to file a defamation complaint against "Yingchip iLaw" at Bueng Kan police station after finding that the communication meets elements of a legal offense.
At 08:30 on 28 Jul 2026 at Sanam Luang, Deputy Prime Minister Songsak Thongsri addressed the case of being named among nine individuals linked by Yingchip Atchyanont, director of the Internet for People's Law Project (iLaw), alleging collusion in the Senate election process. He said his legal team is reviewing Yingchip's statements, some of which constitute defamation, and will have a lawyer file a complaint at the police station in Bueng Kan province, his hometown, to initiate legal proceedings.
