"Ice Rakchanok" disputes "Chulpan and the Labour Permanent Secretary" stating the court did not order a postponement or delay of the Social Security board election. She reveals evidence showing the Social Security Office requested a budget of 275 million baht but told the court that if insured persons register, only 30 million baht would be used.
On 28 Jul 2026, Ms. Rakchanok Srinok, party-list MP from the Prachachon Party, posted on Facebook regarding a petition to the Administrative Court to delay the Social Security board election. She stated the court did not order any postponement or delay and explicitly instructed to hold the election as originally scheduled on 27 Sep 2026. She questioned why the Minister and Permanent Secretary of Labour are citing the court to delay the election when there is sufficient budget and time, asking why they do not try to find solutions to hold the election as planned.
Later, Ms. Rakchanok posted documents of the project overseeing the election of employer and insured representatives to the Social Security Committee in 2026, showing the budget disbursement and commitments sent by the Social Security Office to the budget oversight committee.
The strange issue is the Social Security Office informed the Administrative Court that the reason for requiring pre-registration to be eligible to vote was to simplify management and reduce costs. Without registration, the budget would be 350 million baht, but with registration, it would save money, costing only 30 million baht (highlighted in green on page 6).
This document is the Social Security Office's budget request, estimating a 50% turnout or about 6 million voters.
"They requested a total budget of 275 million baht, with about 14 million disbursed as of 15 June 2026. There is no update on further disbursements. So what does it mean when they told the court that registration would cost only 30 million baht? Is the Social Security Office lying to the court, misleading to misuse insured persons' funds, or is everyone being deceived?"
