This concerns individuals named as directors, shareholders, or partners in partnerships or companies, including legal entities. Qualification checks found 9,314,253 individuals failed eligibility, with 122,324 named as directors or shareholders in partnerships or companies, and 139,804 listed in legal entities, some appearing in multiple entities.
Ms. Ploy Thale stated that provincial commerce offices nationwide have opened for citizens who failed eligibility to check their status as directors, partners, or shareholders in legal entities. Over 700 people have requested verification so far. These data and facts will be compiled and sent to the Ministry of Finance to support consideration and announce the results of rights review for those who failed eligibility.
Those who are genuinely poor but had their names used or falsely claimed as shareholders, directors, or partners can come forward to verify and appeal to the Ministry of Finance to maintain their rights. Provincial commerce offices nationwide are ready to fully assist citizens, following directives from Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul.
