The Prime Minister is set to unveil his vision at The INTANIA Forum, decoding the new world order and outlining Thailand's strategy to address the global economy and geopolitics while attracting investment.
On 30 July 2026, Ms. Ratchada Thanadirek, spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, announced that Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul will preside over the opening of The INTANIA Forum: SURVIVING UNDER THE NEW WORLD ORDER—Navigating the Crisis and the New World Order on Friday, 31 July 2026 at 6:00 p.m., at the Faculty of Engineering Auditorium, Chulalongkorn University. The event is organized by the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University.
The forum takes place amid significant global changes, including great power competition, volatility in the global economy, shifts in supply chains, technological advances, and geopolitical developments, all of which directly impact trade, investment, security, and the development trajectory of countries, including Thailand.
The Prime Minister will deliver the opening remarks and share his vision on Thailand's strategic positioning within the new world order, emphasizing enhancing competitiveness, infrastructure development, investment attraction, creating new economic opportunities, and preparing the country to face global changes with stability and sustainability.
The event also features panel discussions with representatives from the government, private sector, and academia to analyze global economic and geopolitical trends and propose ways to strengthen Thailand's capacity to fully capitalize on global changes. Attendees include Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office Supamas Isaraphakdi, Minister of Defence General Dul Boonthamcharoen, along with government officials, private sector leaders, academics, and the Alumni Association committee.
The INTANIA Forum serves as a platform for exchanging views and policy proposals to help Thailand recognize both risks and opportunities arising from the new world order changes, collaboratively setting the country's development direction to maintain long-term competitiveness and achieve stable, sustainable growth.
“The government believes that in this rapidly changing world, Thailand should not merely adapt but must proactively prepare and strategize to turn challenges into opportunities, boost competitiveness, and improve the quality of life for its people over the long term,” Ms. Ratchada said.
