The Secretary-General of the Bhumjaithai Party dismissed cabinet reshuffle rumors, affirming the government's substantial achievements over four months and requesting one year to evaluate KPIs.
On 31 Jul 2026 GMT+7 at the Government House, Chaiyachonok Chidchob, Minister of Digital Economy and Society and Secretary-General of the Bhumjaithai Party, addressed calls for a cabinet reshuffle. He stressed that performance evaluations should apply to all ministers equally, not just any particular group, and stated he is also ready to be evaluated to ensure the cabinet operates at maximum efficiency.
Chaiyachonok pointed out that over the past four months, the government has delivered many concrete results, including structural reforms in the energy sector and a crackdown on longstanding corruption in local examinations. Therefore, he believes that KPI evaluations should allow for a longer working period, suggesting one year as an appropriate timeframe.
Furthermore, the Bhumjaithai Party leader has instructed all ministers from the outset to intensify their efforts to produce results, as the party has many capable members who must clearly prove their abilities.
