For those who missed buying through the Paotang app, there is another chance. The Government Savings Bank opens subscriptions via Bond Connect with a total issuance of 2 billion baht. Buyers can subscribe through 24 participating commercial banks and securities companies or via the Streaming application, with a minimum purchase of only 1,000 baht.
The Bond Connect subscription uses the “Small Lot First” method, which gradually allocates 1,000 baht increments to each buyer until the total issuance is fully allocated. This method ensures that all buyers have an equal, widespread, and fair chance of receiving bonds. In other words, every subscriber will definitely own Government Savings Bonds.
Subscription is open from 08:30 on Monday, 3 August 2026, until 15:00 on Wednesday, 5 August 2026.
Allocation results will be announced on Thursday, 6 August 2026, with refunds for any unsubscribed amounts (if full subscription was not allocated) processed the same day.
For those interested but not ready to subscribe now, do not worry, as there will be many more opportunities to save safely and securely. The Government Savings Bank will open the second issuance of Government Savings Bonds in September and will continue to offer them regularly every month throughout fiscal year 2027.
They will be continuously offered every month throughout fiscal year 2027.
