Anutin extended birthday wishes to Prapat Phothasuthon on his 77th birthday, sweetly noting that every 1 August must be a birthday celebration. Reflecting on the first day of campaigning, he was immediately confident of electoral victory and vowed to keep promises to improve all matters.
On 1 August 2026, Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul attended the birthday event of Prapat Phothasuthon, Bhumjaithai MP for Suphanburi, who turned 77. He met with civil servants, merchants, and citizens. Present were Minister of Industry Warawut Silpa-archa; Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office Pradorn Prissanananthakul; Ang Thong MP Karavee Prissanananthakul; Bhumjaithai MPs Sorachart Sujit, Nattawut Prasertsuwan, Samoekan Tiengtham from Suphanburi; Bhumjaithai MPs Supachok Srisukkhajorn, Panuwat Sasomsap, Colonel Sukchat Sasomsap, and Anucha Sasomsap from Nakhon Pathom; as well as Kla Party MP Nattachart Wongprasert from Suphanburi, all welcoming him warmly.
On stage, the Prime Minister said everyone present knew this was an important day for all, being Prapat’s birthday—a man respected and revered, who loves the nation, the land, and the people, serving as the eternal MP of Suphanburi, now proudly representing the Bhumjaithai Party. When he first came here, he was unsure if the people would trust them so much. From that initial visit introducing himself, he received a warm welcome from Suphanburi residents. Previously, the province was not well acquainted with Bhumjaithai, but after that visit, the warm reception and open dialogue made him feel deeply welcomed. He was confident then that Suphanburi people would give Bhumjaithai a chance, and he and the local team would have the opportunity to serve everyone.
The Prime Minister continued, expressing confidence that Suphanburi residents would not abandon him, which indeed came true. They entrusted him with their trust. At that moment, he immediately felt that Bhumjaithai would win the election, powered by the faith the people had placed in the party.
Therefore, we will honor the promises made to the people of Suphanburi and nationwide. We must implement these commitments, which we have been steadily progressing, improving conditions. Everything is becoming more stable. The livelihoods of the people have been addressed—economy, prices of agricultural products, rice prices, and transportation infrastructure.
All of these must improve.
Anutin added that from now on, every 1 August he will be obliged to come to Suphanburi to meet with the people. Also, on 23 October, he will celebrate the birthday of Jongchai Tiengtham, former minister and MP of Suphanburi, another elder of the province. Everyone came willingly and happily today. Joy will increase seeing Prapat remain unchanged—clear-voiced, authoritative, refusing to let anyone interfere, managing everything himself.
Moreover, Suphanburi was founded by former Prime Minister Banharn Silpa-archa and has continued through generations, supported by elders who provide experience, advice, and backing. Currently, all remains strong. We believe we will come here at least 50 more times. We are confident Prapat will not abandon us. His health depends on the trust of Suphanburi people. Today, besides taking happiness home, we must pray to the sacred for blessings that Prapat will have increasing happiness, success, good health, and longevity. Most importantly, may he have the strength and determination to serve Suphanburi people until the end of time. May these prayers bear fruit from this moment onward forever.
