On 2 August 2026, after Ms. Panida Mongkonsawat, Member of Parliament for Samut Prakan and Deputy Spokesperson of the People's Party, posted on Facebook regarding calls for the People's Party to publicly clarify the dissemination of content from the book "The People's Party That Does Not Surrender". Ms. Thisana Chunhawat or Kaewta, former Bangkok MP of the People's Party, who faces allegations of sexual harassment and organizational management issues that have drawn attention on social media. Later, at 14:59, Ms. Thisana posted a message onFacebooklisting four points about why she would not meet: 1. She had already spoken fully with the management. 2. No one took any action. 3. Currently, the offender does not hold a position (but was re-elected MP after the issue became known and held many important positions while serving). 4. Regarding remedies, even giving the offender's entire monthly salary every month for life would not compensate for the dignity violated. She concluded with: “It’s too late. You have chosen to deliberately trample on my dignity and protect the offender.” However, under that post, Facebook users continuously offered support to Ms. Thisana.
