The event runs from 8 to 16 August at Challenger Halls 1-3, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.

Mr. Phonphir Suwanchavee, Deputy Minister of Interior, presided over the press conference for the “Silpachip Prateep Thai OTOP: United by Royal Grace” 2026 event under the concept RADIANCE OF SIAM. Also present were Mr. Siam Sirimongkol, Director-General of the Community Development Department, and actress-singer Ms. Pimprapa Tangpraporn, the 2026 brand ambassador, to convey the importance and uniqueness of the event. The event was also honored by executives from the Ministry of Interior and representatives from both public and private sector partners, held at The Hill, Ground Floor, Central Northville Shopping Center, Nonthaburi Province.

Mr. Phonphir revealed that the Ministry of Interior places great importance on OTOP as a key tool to drive grassroots economic development. It serves as a mechanism to directly distribute income to people at the subdistrict and village levels. Today, OTOP is no longer just a career promotion or income supplement program but aims to develop new-generation Thai entrepreneurs from every subdistrict, district, and province to compete in the modern trade world.

The Ministry has upgraded services to an “OTOP One Stop Service,” a comprehensive community entrepreneur service center covering standard certification via Fast Track, packaging design, access to special interest loans, and expanded marketing channels online and offline. OTOP is being enhanced in four key dimensions: production, marketing, technology-based management, and financial management, alongside product image improvements so that “Made in Thailand” becomes a symbol of value, quality, and pride for Thai people.

The Director-General of the Community Development Department stated that the event’s main purpose is to collectively honor Her Majesty the Queen Mother's grace and continue her royal initiatives. A central focus is showcasing the diverse beauty of Thai textiles. The event also gathers products from the Silpachip Promotion Foundation and all five OTOP categories, including OTOP food products, along with a Studio Live Streaming area for online shopping enthusiasts, featuring discount coupons, increasing savings the more you shop, and free delivery promotions.

This year’s highlights include four newly designed zones:

1. OTOP MuTelu, a space reflecting another dimension of Thai wisdom by integrating local beliefs, faith, and long-standing cultural traditions. It includes amulets, sacred objects, spiritual art, and products inspired by regional beliefs, now developed to combine beauty, quality, and design that appeals to younger generations.

2. OTOP Craft & Design, a zone that evolves traditional handicrafts by blending design concepts, innovation, and modern lifestyles, making OTOP products not just everyday items or souvenirs but goods that suit contemporary living.

3. OTOP Luxury, showcasing upgraded local craftsmanship in jewelry and precious stones as premium OTOP products, opening opportunities for business matching and B2B trade negotiations.

4. OTOP Spirits Tasting, featuring selected unique local spirits made from indigenous ingredients nationwide, creating new market competition opportunities.

Furthermore, the Community Development Department expects this event to generate at least 800 million baht in economic circulation, supporting income for families, raw material producers, artisans, and community networks across the country.

Meanwhile, Ms. Pimprapa Tangpraporn, the 2026 brand ambassador, appearing in contemporary Thai textile attire, expressed her honor and pride to be part of the event, helping to convey the charm of Thai textiles to younger generations. She noted that today’s Thai textiles and OTOP products have been developed in design, color, style, and usability to perfectly fit modern lifestyles.

However, the Ministry of Interior invites the public to join in honoring and appreciating the value of Thai textiles by enjoying shopping, tasting, and using the Thai Help Thai Plus scheme effectively at the “Silpachip Prateep Thai OTOP: United by Royal Grace” 2026 event from 8 to 16 August 2026 at Challenger Halls 1-3, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. Come select products from authentic producers. Every piece of fabric you wear and every OTOP product you buy not only brings joy to the recipient but also helps preserve traditional wisdom, continue the land’s values, and return income to Thai communities nationwide.
