
The Prime Minister has arrived in Jakarta and is preparing for full delegation talks with the President of Indonesia, focusing on strengthening cooperation under the Strategic Partnership framework.
At 15:45 on 3 August 2026 (Jakarta time, which corresponds to Thai time), Ms. Ratchada Thanadirek, spokesperson for the Office of the Prime Minister, announced that Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sihasak Phuangketkaew, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce Supachai Sutthammanoon, Lieutenant General Adul Boonthamcharoen, Minister of Defense, Prasert Chanruangthong, Minister of Education, and Watcharapol Khawkhum, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, along with the delegation, arrived at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in Jakarta, Republic of Indonesia.
This marks the start of an official visit to the Republic of Indonesia from 3 to 4 August 2026, at the invitation of Mr. Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia. The delegation was welcomed by General Jamari Kaniaqo, Indonesia's Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs in his capacity as honorary minister, Mr. Hari Prabowo, Indonesian Ambassador to Thailand, and Mr. Praphan Disyatat, Thai Ambassador to Jakarta.
An official welcoming ceremony and full delegation talks with the President of the Republic of Indonesia will be held at the Indonesian Presidential Palace to strengthen relations within the Strategic Partnership framework.
