
Prime Minister Anutin opened his official visit to Indonesia after 15 years, receiving a dignified welcome from President Prabowo Subianto before joining discussions to set the direction for future cooperation.
On 3 August 2026 at 16:30 local time in Jakarta, which corresponds to Thailand's time, at the Presidential Palace of Indonesia in Jakarta, the Republic of Indonesia, Ms. Ratchada Thanadirek, spokesperson for the Office of the Prime Minister, announced that Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul participated in an official welcome ceremony on the occasion of his official visit to the Republic of Indonesia.
The spokesperson added that upon the Prime Minister's arrival at the Presidential Palace, His Excellency Mr. Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, warmly and honorably received him. The two leaders attended the official welcome ceremony, which included the playing of both countries' national anthems, a 19-gun salute, and an honor guard inspection. They then met and greeted youth gathered to welcome them, introduced their respective delegations, and took a group photo in front of both countries' national flags.
