Prime Minister Anutin witnessed the ceremony awarding an honor badge to the President of Indonesia, reflecting the friendship between the Thai and Indonesian armed forces and their strong security cooperation.

After the press conference, the Prime Minister witnessed the ceremony where the Special Operations Command of the Royal Thai Army awarded an honor badge to the President of Indonesia to recognize his role and contributions to promoting security cooperation between Thailand and Indonesia, as well as to symbolize the close ties between the two countries' armed forces.
Ms. Ratchada Thanadirek, spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, revealed that the honor badge awarded on this occasion included a red beret symbolizing special forces combat units, a combat knife with a red cord representing readiness, bravery, and honor of special forces warriors, parachutist wings signifying completion of airborne training, and a commemorative medal to honor and symbolize friendship between the special forces units of both countries.
Additionally, the International Counter-Terrorism Operations Center presented a plaque and unit wings to commemorate the counter-terrorism cooperation between Thailand and Indonesia, especially Operation “Woyla,” recognized as one of the successful hostage rescue missions, demonstrating the outstanding professionalism of Indonesia’s Kopassus unit. This contributed significantly to enhancing security cooperation and strengthening the longstanding friendship between Thailand and the Republic of Indonesia.
“This occasion reflects the close relationship between Thailand and Indonesia as friendly nations and founding members of ASEAN, ready to advance security cooperation, develop personnel capabilities, and respond to new types of threats to enhance regional stability and peace together,” said Ms. Ratchada.
