The Director-General of the Department of Provincial Administration visited Mae Sot to monitor the One Stop Service center facilitating convenient, transparent, and comprehensive review of state welfare card rights in every village.
On 4 August 2026, Mr. Naru-cha Kosasivilai, Director-General of the Department of Provincial Administration, inspected the operation of the One Stop Service (OSS) coordination center supporting the 2026 state welfare registration project at Mae Sot District Office, Tak Province. He was accompanied by Mr. Jeset Thaiset, Deputy Minister of Interior; Mr. Chusak Ruying, Governor of Tak Province; and Mr. Kantpong Pipatmontrikul, District Chief of Mae Sot, to follow up on public service delivery and ensure citizens’ confidence in accessing state welfare rights comprehensively.
During the visit, it was found that over 125 citizens from both municipal and surrounding subdistrict areas continuously came to inquire about eligibility results and submit review requests. The Mae Sot OSS center integrated cooperation with five key local agencies—Tak Provincial Land Transport Office Mae Sot Branch, Mae Sot Revenue Office, Krung Thai Bank, Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC), and Tak Provincial Land Office Mae Sot Branch—to provide comprehensive one-stop services, simplifying procedures and reducing multiple travel burdens for citizens.
Additionally, Mae Sot District implemented a proactive work plan, scheduling field visits to each subdistrict to receive review requests from those who did not meet criteria, ensuring comprehensive service coverage across all villages. The OSS center acts as the hub for receiving cases, providing guidance, and coordinating with eligibility verification agencies. Task forces at the subdistrict level support these efforts closely. If residents need to submit additional documents, the center collects and forwards them to minimize citizens’ burdens as much as possible.
The Director-General of the Department of Provincial Administration emphasized that the department will continue integrating efforts with all sectors to ensure that the process for citizens to review their state welfare rights is convenient, fast, transparent, and receives the best possible care.
