Yotchanan rushed to donate blood at Phra Nang Klao Hospital to help victims of the shooting at Thap Sirin School in Nonthaburi and called on the public to help save the injured.
On 7 Aug 2026 at 17:30, after closely monitoring the situation at Thap Sirin School in Nonthaburi, Professor Dr. Yotchanan Wongsawat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, proceeded to Phra Nang Klao Hospital to donate blood to support medical treatment for those injured in the incident.
At the same time, Professor Dr. Yotchanan invited healthy and willing members of the public to come donate blood at Phra Nang Klao Hospital to ensure an adequate reserve for surgeries and ongoing care of the injured under close medical supervision.
Additionally, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed thanks to the public and military personnel who promptly donated blood earlier, and sent encouragement to the doctors, nurses, and medical staff who are dedicating themselves fully to caring for the injured.
