He gave the example of the former Wiang Haeng District Chief Officer in Chiang Mai, who died by suicide from gas inhalation. This shows that the government is enforcing the law very strictly. He said those involved should stop such actions. He also asked the Director-General of the Department of Provincial Administration why the official resorted to taking his own life. Faced with multiple charges from separate cases totaling over 400 years in prison, the stress might have overwhelmed him. However, the Prime Minister does not want such incidents to occur and stressed that officials must not break the law and must perform their duties with honesty, especially civil servants.
