She said she has never been summoned by the EC or the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) to clarify any money-related issues in over two years.
When asked how she would respond to the allegations, Suksamruay said the documents given to Parit by lawyer Aun, which were said to be from an EC spy, should be questioned directly with that spy. She added that they should ask if the EC has investigated the documents and what the matter concerns. If the full truth were told without creating hype, the Thai public would receive complete and accurate information. She urged not to drive the story by creating hype and assumptions. She also noted that some benefit from stirring up hype, including posting critical comments. It is simple: ask the spy where the money trail originates, what it concerns, and how it relates to her. She said she need not respond because it does not involve her.
Regarding whether she would file lawsuits, Suksamruay said she has already filed complaints against Yingcheep Atjanon, director of the Internet for People's Law Project (iLaw), lawyer Aun, and Parit to protect her rights. If the statements are not defamatory, the police would dismiss the case; if defamatory, they would prosecute. Each case is filed separately at Amnat Charoen Police Station.
She thanked Yingcheep’s page for their attention to Amnat Charoen province but warned that the information posted might be untrue and come from her political opponents in Amnat Charoen. She cautioned to be careful not to lose the fight.
When asked what she meant by creating hype, Suksamruay said she believes the media are aware that the EC has spent considerable time investigating this case. Everyone knows the EC is about to decide who is guilty or not and who will be sent to court. She believes those actions, including by the media, have clear motives. She reaffirmed that she has no financial links related to the case.
