On 10 Aug 2026 GMT+7, Dr. Warong Dechkitvikrom, a party-list MP and leader of the Thai Pakdee Party, explained that he has not been very active recently because following the news reveals only exchanges of rhetoric. He believes that the government, as the country's ruling authority, should act as mature adults with responsibility.
Dr. Warong pointed out that although the opposition has the role of scrutinizing and criticizing the government, the government should not engage in rhetorical battles back and forth. Such actions do not benefit the public. What the people truly want is for the government to urgently address economic hardships and suffering, not to create daily rhetorical conflicts.
Additionally, Dr. Warong emphasized the role of the national leader, stating that the Prime Minister should not waste valuable time or spend it arguing or engaging in rhetorical battles with anyone. Instead, the focus must be on working decisively and clearly to solve problems, especially those faced by about 5 million poor people awaiting assistance and rights restoration.
Dr. Warong concluded by urging the government to act as mature adults with responsibility, sincerely and earnestly focusing on solving the people's economic difficulties and hardships before the public loses patience and ultimately punishes the government.
