Trisuli, as party registrar, revealed that Chalong Riewrang, former MP of Nonthaburi, submitted his resignation from Bhumjaithai as early as May 2024.
On 10 August 2026, regarding the incident Mr. Chalong Riewrang former Member of Parliament (MP) for Nonthaburi, stormed and shot Police Colonel Thongchai Yenprasert, Chief of the Nonthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization (PAO), who was injured. The latest update is Ms. Trisuli Traisornkul, Secretary to the Prime Minister and Bhumjaithai party registrar, disclosed that Chalong had submitted his resignation letter dated 27 May 2024.
Chalong previously ran for MP under the Bhumjaithai party in 2023 but was not elected. He had formerly served as an MP representing the Pheu Thai party. Recent reports indicate that Chalong is now a member of the Palang Pracharath Party.
