The Pheu Thai leadership mourns the passing of Kriang Kalptinan, revealing he was a pioneering member during the founding era of the Thai Rak Thai party.
On 11 August 2026 at the Government House, Suriya Juangroongruangkit, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives and a Pheu Thai party leader, spoke about the death of Kriang Kalptinan, former Deputy Minister of Interior. He said he had learned of Kriang's passing and would attend the funeral in person once the schedule is confirmed to pay his respects for this loss.
Suriya added that he and Kriang had been very close since the founding of the Thai Rak Thai (TRT) party. Kriang was a veteran member and one of the pioneers who helped build the party together with Suriya, Supol Fongngam, and Sena Thienthong.
